Angola: Youth Urged to Be Committed to Executive Programmes

Gambos — The governor of the southern Huíla province, João Marcelino Tyipinge, reiterated on Thursday in Gambos district the need for the young people to be more committed to the materialisation of various programmes outlined by the Angolan executive, aiming for better services to the population.

Speaking in a meeting with chieftains, the governor underlined that the materialisation of any kind of action depends on youth dynamism.

Marcelino Tyipinge recalled that the government has gradually been investing a lot in the construction of schools, so as to train new cadres, mainly the young people.

He appealed to the traditional authorities, members of churches, civil society, singular and collective people to cooperate in the sensitizing the youth to be committed to the various actions outlined by the government so as to grow more and distribute better.

The official is paying a working visit to Gambos since Wednesday, where he is checking the implementation of programmes funded by the Angolan state, under the public investments.
