Nigeria: IG Unveils Plans for 10th Biennial Police Games

The Inspector General of Police, Mohammed D. Abubakar, has assured that the 10th edition of the biennial Police Games scheduled to hold between March 3rd and 9th in Port Harcourt promises to throw up new talents that will do the country proud as it has become the tradition of the force for Nigeria.

The police chief who was represented at the media briefing in Lagos to herald the games by the Chairman, Police Sports Planning Committee, Commissioner Abimbola Macaulay, disclosed that the event which has been tagged "Port-Harcourt 2013" be marked by an elaborate opening and closing ceremonies inside the Liberation Stadium, with the President Goodluck Jonathan as the Special Guest of Honour.
