A former governor of Osun State, Prince Olagunsoye Oyinlola has asked the National Judicial Council to re-examine the petition he submitted to the council alleging that the suspended President of the Court of Appeal, Justice Ayo Salami had communications with the leadership of the Action Congress of Nigeria while presiding on the election petition that removed him from office as governor.

Oyinlola based his call for reconsideration of his petition on a police investigation report which established the fact that communications existed between the ACN leadership and Salami while hearing on his petition lasted.
