Angola: Commission for Literary Prize Set Up in Bengo

Caxito — The governor of northern Bengo province, João Bernardo de Miranda created Thursday a local commission tasked with awarding literary prize for 2013 edition.

Coordinated by the deputy governor for Political and Social sector, Maria Augusta Pereira Peixoto, the commission also integrates Provincial directors of Culture, Youth and Sports and Media.

The regulation of the literary prize Bengo 2013 stipulates that the candidates for the award should be Angolans with unpublished literary works written in Portuguese making reference to the province of Bengo.

The works to the contest must be double-spaced typewritten and may be submitted until 26 March this year.

The winner of the contest receives 200,000 Kwanzas.
