Luena — At least one hundred and thirty people have been displaced due to the rains that hit recently the district of Bundas, eastern Moxico province.
The information was released Thursday by the local administrator, José Miguel Mandunda, who would not mention the number of homes destroyed by the flood.
The outskirts of the district headquarters, Lumbala-Nguimbo and some communes were the most affected by the blood.
According to the administrator, the affected localities are awaiting the assistance from provincial commission of civil protection.
Bundas district is located 357km south of Luena city, the capital of Moxico province.
