The incoming county governments have been allocated 9.8 million shillings for administration and 60 billion shillings for development. Transitional Authority chairman Kinuthia Wamwangi says they have also set aside 2 million shillings for each county to facilitate the inauguration of governors and other officials.
The counties will also get between 2 to 5 million shillings to refurbish buildings meant to house the officials.
