Morocco: Royal Army Side Take Botola Lead

FAR beat hosts Renaissance Berkane on Day 17 of the Botola. Salaheddine Aqqal scored the lone match goal in the 88th minute. With 35 points, the Royal Army team are now the Morocco Pro-Elite 1 leaders.

RCA rank second with 33 points after their match against KAC. Redouane Karaoui and Hamza Bourezouk scored for the draw.

WAC held third place after their nil draw with hosts Moghreb Fes. Raja Beni Mellal also drew 1-1with OCS.

Chabab Rif Al Hoceima defeated Olympique de Khouribga 2-0. Abdessamad Lembarki and Mohammed Tahiri scored for the home win. CRA rank seventh with 22 points, while OCK are 11th with 17 points.

In other Day 17 action, CODM defeated guests Wydad de Fès 2-1 on Saturday. Zouhair Hilali scored the first goal of the match through a penalty kick. Mohammed Camara scored the second Meknes goal, while Abdelrahim Saidi scored for the visitors (75') through a penalty kick.
