Gambia: Gee, New Era to Perform At Estate Dj Clash Meltdown Vol One

Gee and New Era's hip-hop artistes Myk, Brainz and Mass Murder will be among the performers at the Estate DJ Clash Meltdown Vol 1 slated for Friday 22 March 2013 at the KMC hall on Jimpex Road in Kanifing.

According to the release, the event is a DJ competition organised for DJs around the Kanifing Region, to help boost their career by bringing out the hidden talents in them. Organised by the Star Guide Promos and the Young Estate Movement (YEM), in collaboration with the Minka Family and Dream City Music of Kanifing, the event is also a fundraiser to host an Inter-Blocks Football Tournament for Kanifing Estate slated for the 2013 summer (July 2013).

"Six DJs will perform in the event, namely DJ Boom, DJ Blaze, DJ Tafiz, DJ Ala, AK10 and Joe Vybz, and the show will also feature performances from the Minka Family, Dream City, and the two guest artistes, Gee and New Era," the release added.

Backed by DJ Abraham So Fly (Feel Da Bass) from the UK, tickets will be available at D50 before midnight and the event starts at 9pm on 22 March 2013 at the KMC Hall on Jimpex Road in Kanifing.
