Angola: Agriculture Minister Opens Banana Fair in Panguila Ward

Caxito — The Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Afonso Pedro Canga, is expected this Friday in Panguila locality, northern Bengo province, so as to open the 2nd edition of the national banana production fair.

According to a press note from the organisers of the fair that reached Angop on Thursday, the provincial governor of Bengo, João Bernardo de Miranda will welcome the guests and exhibiters in the event.

During his stay, the minister and delegation will hold a guide visit to the pavilions, so as to check the conditions and organisational levels of the event.

The organisers confirmed the participation of 180 exhibiters from the provinces of Luanda, Bengo, Kwanza Sul, Kwanza Norte, Uíge, Benguela and Zaire.

Besides national banana, it will also be displayed machineries used in the agricultural production.
