Namibia: Enduro Series Kicks Off This Weekend

The first round of the Bank Windhoek Namibian National 2013 Series is scheduled to kick off this week Saturday, 23 February at the Tony Rust race track. The Tony Rust event is co sponsored by Satcom Engineering Centre. With all the teams returning for another year of racing, the competitors will hold a draw to determine the starting positions. After this race, the starting positions will be based on the championship standings.

Bank Windhoek reaffirmed its commitment to Enduro by renewing the series sponsorship for Enduro in the national championship consisting of eight rounds. Joining them on board is Satcom Engineering Centre who will provide the transponder system which will be used for timekeeping and route checking.

"We are delighted to have these committed companies on board and grateful for their continued support towards the sport," said Andreas Brendel of the Namibian Enduro Club.

The race will start at 07:00 with Documentation and Technical Control with the first bike off the line at 9:00. All riders did a documentation on Thursday evening at KTM explained Mr Brendel.
