Tunis — The Shura Council of Ennahdha Movement met on Thursday night to appoint a successor to outgoing Premier Hamadi Jebali and closed its meeting at 2 AM Friday morning without disclosing the name of the candidate elected by the 130 member-council.
The name of the elected candidate will be given by the Party leader to the Caretaker President Moncef Marzouki who will announce it today, sources at Ennahdha Party told TAP news agency journalist.
Even if no information leaked out about the name of the successor, 5 names have been retained for voting at the end of the debate which lasted several hours.
They are: Abdellatif Mekki, Mohamed Ben Salem, Ali Larayedh, Noureddine Bhiri and Abdelkarim Harouni.
