Western Sahara: President of Republic Expresses to Ban Ki-Moon Deep Concern of Polisario Front After Moroccan Military Court's Verdicts

Shahid Alhafed — President of the Republic, Secretary General of the Polisario Front Mohamed Abdelaziz, on Thursday expressed to the UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon, through a telephone call "the deep concern of the Polisario Front, the Saharawi Government and the Saharawi People after unjust Moroccan military trial and its arbitrary rulings against the 25 saharawi civilian innocents detainees before, during and following the brutal dismantling by Moroccan forces of the Saharawi protest camp at Gdem Izik on 8 November 2010"

President Mohamed Abdelaziz renewed strong condemnation of the Saharawi party to the" Moroccan military court and its fake verdicts" confirming that these "Moroccan non -responsible behaviors aim at blow up all efforts to find a fair and lasting solution to problem of decolonization in Western Sahara,"

President of the Republic emphasized that the United Nations should "assume its responsibilities in protect and monitor human rights and work for accelerating the implementation of UN and African peace process to organize free ,fair and transparent referendum of self-determination of the Saharawi people."
