Angola: Sonip Suspends Sales of Houses

Luanda — Sonangol Real Estate Company (SONIP) has temporarily suspended this Friday the sales of houses that started on 1 February 2013 in the towns of Kilamba, Cacuaco, Capari, Km 44 and Zango.

According to a press note from SONIP that reached Angop on Friday, the measure results from the need for the company to assess the activities developed so far.

During 22 days, the sales were processed in resolvable rental regime, with or without entrance in a timeframe varying from 15 to 20 years.

Angop learnt that public would own the house by rental and prompt payment regime.
