Kenya: Ajwang Elated to Join Promoted Bandari FC

Bandari midfielder Fred Ajwang hopes he can make an impact at the club in the coming season. The former Tusker FC player has now moved to the dockers who earned promotion back to the top tier after one year in the cold.

Ajwang was a title winner with the Brewers last year and his latest move to Bandari got soccer enthusiasts by surprise. However, Ajwang looks at it differently. "I am happy here and I think it was a good move to come down. The players and the officials are all happy to be here and are trying to do wonders for the club," he said.

"I think that we will have a good season as everyone is proud to be at the club and to play a part. The coaching staff and players have welcomed me well and I am sure we will be fine. Things are looking good," he added.
