Egypt: Egp 6.5 Billion T-Bills Auctioned

The Finance Ministry auctioned on Thursday 21/02/2013 the 182-day and 364-day treasury bills at a total value of 6.5 billion pounds.

In an online statement, the ministry said the average yield on the 182-day T-bills was 13.342%, adding it accepted bids at rates between 13.001% and 13.391%.

As for the 364-day T-bills, they achieved an average revenue of 13.957%, the ministry said, adding it accepted bids at rates between 13.001% and 14.01%.

The Central Bank of Egypt auctions T-bills on behalf of the Finance Ministry.
