MAC Cosmetics hosted an event in Nigeria recently to celebrate the brand's launch into the country in one of Africa's fastest growing cities, Lagos.
Close to 200 guests including media, influencers and industry opinion leaders attended the 'MAC Rocks Colour' party. They include Nollywood actress, Chioma Chukwuka Akpotha, TV personality, Eku Edwor, and fashion designer Ohimia Atafo, a fashion designer.
Others were Praise Adejoh, a musician, radio DJ Vixen, Beat FM, Olisah Adibua, Tara Durotoye, celebrated Make-Up Artist and entrepreneur, Zizi Cardow celebrated fashion designer and Miss Nigeria.
Tattooed-faced Nigerian DJ Sose kept the crowd energised and dancing throughout the night.
With the help of MAC Rocks Colour models, guests scrawled messages to MAC on the tagging wall saying how much they loved the brand and how excited they were to finally have MAC in Nigeria.
The makeup touch-up area staffed by MAC artists from the new Ikeja store was packed all night with guests who selected looks designed by globally renowned makeup artist Val Garland.
Nollywood actress Kate Henshaw hosted the evening and Tiwa Savage gave a stunning performance.
Nigeria is the third sub-sahara African country that M•A•C is in, after door openings Zambia and Botswana in two months ago.
