Special Advisor to Egypt's Grand Mufti Dr. Ibrahim Negm denied on Thursday 21/2/2013 that Egypt's Mufti Dr. Ali Gomaa issued a fatwa (religious edict) allowing the killing of those who oppose the president as claimed by a preacher and owner of a religious TV channel.
"Those statements attributed to Gomaa are absolutely groundless", Negm said in a statement.
