Egypt: Qandil Meets U.S. Congressman

Egypt's Prime Minister Dr. Hisham Qandil met with US Congressman Frank Wolf Thursday 21/2/213 to review the latest developments of the situation in Egypt. The Prime Minister highlighted the persistence of the Egyptian people to achieve the goals of the 25th January revolution and continue their march towards democracy.

During the meeting, Wolf stressed the importance of the return of stability to Egypt which he described as a key player in the region.

Qandil reviewed the government's efforts in cooperation with the National Council for Human Rights (NCHR) to enforce the state of law and protect civil liberties and human rights.
