Angola: President Appoints New State Secretary of Home Affairs

Luanda — The President of the Republic, José Eduardo dos Santos, appointed Friday, Hermenegildo José Félix, for the position of Secretary of State in the Ministry of Interior.

The information is contained in a note from the Civil House of the President of the Republic that reached ANGOP, in Luanda.

The government of the Third Republic, created after the election of August 31, 2012, won by MPLA, was appointed on 29 September and sworn in on October 1.

The Home Affairs minister is Angelo de Barros Veiga Tavares, who has already as secretaries of State Eugenio Cesar Laborinho and Jose Bamókina Zau.
