Prime Minister Hisham Qandil held Thursday 21/2/2013 a meeting with a delegation of Building and Development Party, the political arm of Al-Gamaa Al-Islamiyya (Islamic group), to discuss government's efforts to restore security and improve standards of living.

The meeting was attended by a leading member of the party Tarek Al-Zomor and Khaled el-Sherif, the spokesman for the Islamist party.

Qandil briefed the delegation on efforts exerted by the Interior Ministry to confront lawlessness and arrest criminals, Sherif said in press statements following the meeting.
