Djibouti: President Hayatou Welcomes Djibouti Delegation to CAF HQ

The newly elected President of Djibouti Football Federation (DJI) Mr Souleiman Hassan Waberi paid a courtesy call on Friday 2nd February on CAF President Issa Hayatou in Cairo, Egypt. Accompanied by vice President Mohamed Yassin Yonis and Mr Hared Mohamed ( Federation treasurer) Mr Waberi discussed issues related to the development of the game in his country with the CAF President.

Congratulating him on his election as President of the Djibouti at the Elective General Assembly last November, Hayatou assured him of the Confederation's unflinching support towards the activities of the Djibouti Football Federation.

The Djibouti delegation then met with CAF Secretary General, Hicham El Amrani to discuss various projects of Djibouti Football Federation and the current state of football in the East African country. Mr Waberi and his delegation then toured the CAF headquarters in Cairo before their departure.
