Asmara — A number of new machineries, vehicles and buses have arrived at Massawa Port in line with the government's endeavors to implement various development programs and improve quality of transport nationwide this year and beyond.

Such import is due to give rise to a turning point move as regards ensuring food security, infrastructural and social service development, as well as implementation of other cherished strategic programs, besides the domain of transport.

It is to be recalled that numerous and diverse trucks and agricultural, as well as infrastructural machineries were imported by the end of the year 2011.
