Zambia: A Moment With Former Big Brother Housemate Max

YOU certainly know him as Max from the famous Big Brother Africa house! Maxwell Chongo managed to entertain, captivate and surprise Zambians with his lifestyle twists when he was locked up in the dramatic BBA.

With that rare experience in the house, he has managed to add his name to the list of accomplished luminaries of Zambia.

The BBA house is certainly one full of surprising conspiracy and Max was part of the surprise package when he renounced his five-year long relationship with a home faithful girlfriend to dramatically fall for South Africa's Lerrato.

Their love was head-over-heels, as the latter even announced his intentions of marrying the South African and perhaps bring her home to Zambia.

Was Max being genuine with his decisions that made him lose his home girlfriend he dated for more than five years?

He called himself a risk taker and that he had done what he did not because anyone forced him to, but that he actually wanted it that way. Now, where has all the adventure taken Max to?

Lerrato is history in his life and he remains 'questionably single' but a proud father of two children! Asked who the mother of his children is, he seems to have a huge secret and would rather keep it close to his chest.

He is happy that the reality show has made him what he is today boasting of good businesses and a luminary worth lifestyle.

"I am now a don in my own way my friend" he would say as he relaxes on his multimillion worth leather suite with five good cell phones and a pistol by his side!

Before he entered the house, Max could not even afford a phone! However, after being exposed to the African major stage, he took advantage of the red carpet to now establish viable businesses that includes boutiques, cars and pubs.

With such worthwhile investment he can afford to rent a house of up to K3.6 million ( KR 3,600) per month!

We also caught up with him during his daily gym routine at the City of Heath Gym where he subscribes up to KR 400 per month. What a life!

"You may ask to say why spend all that money on rentals, I have planned ahead... I am building my own house now," he says.

From a life of not even affording a phone before getting into the BBA house, Max can now live a luxurious life as evidenced from his Avondale home full of expensive household goods but says he is not yet satisfied with what he has.

He says his children will never go through the hard life that he experienced before stepping onto the celebrities' red carpet.

Having had a life perceived as a women player, Max had a point to prove when he went for VCT and made his results public.

"I am not what people think I am, I am not a player and my results can say it all. I am HIV negative....With this said, I have a very important message for the youth, please go for VCT and for guys consider male circumcision because this is a sure way of portraying our love and care for our women folk."

We have tried to make Max tell us about his relationship but it was as good as trying to get milk from a dead cow but we are not giving up.
