Angola: Swimming Federation Chairman Appeals for Investment in Younger Categories

Luanda — The chairman of the Angolan Swimming Federation (FAN) on Friday in Luanda appealed to clubs managers to invest more in younger categories aimed at finding new talents to reinforce the future senior male and female national squads.

Speaking to the press, in the end of second round of the national championship by categories, which is happening in Acina summing Pool, in Luanda, the federation official defended the need for more investments in the initial categories as being the ideal way to tackle the problem of lack of athletes with quality to win medals in international competitions.

He admitted that there is a lack of specific coaches at the level of the federation who would train the talented youths.
