Prime Minister Dr. Hisham Qandil underlined that the government is capable of carrying out its mission in serving the nation, noting that the government's resignation is a sort of disclaiming responsibility.

He added that Egypt is passing through a transitional period as was the case in many other states, calling on the people and the political forces and parties to work hard.

The premier said the rate of establishing new companies has increased by 23 % this year, where the number of established companies reached 4, 333 with capital investment of EGP 509bn, 25% of which in Arab and foreign investments; this is besides other operating companies with capital worth EGP 35bn.
