Wako Kungo — Only two percent of the 50,000 Angolan companies are exporters and belong to the extractive sector, said Friday in Wako Kungo, Samora Kitumba, of the Ministry of Economy.
The technician was speaking at the 4th National Meeting of Assessment of Integrated Municipal Program of Development and Poverty Alleviation, which runs from Friday, in the city of Wako Kungo, Kwanza Sul province, while addressing the theme "Angola Invest".
According toSamora Kitumba, Angolan companies import almost everything, even food, and consequently exports up much currency and it worries the Angolan government.
He justified that in order to reverse the current situation, the government created the "Invest Angola" to support local businesses that have had difficulties in obtaining financing for investment.
