Egypt: Presidency Demands Report About Toukh City Incident

The presidency demanded a report about an incident that took place in Toukh city on Saturday 23/2/2013 where nine people were killed in a sewage septic tank, said Dr. Adel Zayed Governor of Qalyubiyah.

The governor said that the compensations value have been increased to the families of the victims of the accident to be EGP10,000 for each family, plus EGP5,000 donated by a businessman to each family in addition to compensations of the Holding Company for Drinking Water and Sanitation.

The governor responded to the demands of the residents to raise the efficiency of rural hospital and talked to the minister of health in this concern.
