Egypt: Health Minister - Two New Hospitals for Treating Child Tumors

Health and Population Minister Dr. Mohamed Moustafa announced on 23/2/2013 that it was decided to inaugurate Harmal Hospital for treating child tumors in June, 2013 at a cost of EGP562 million.

The Minister confirmed that there won't be new funding for establishing hospitals before ending the projects that are now underway. He said that Harmal Hospital, which is one of the remarkable hospitals in Cairo, has stopped operation for financial reasons.

He pointed out that the hospital will include 174 beds, 29 of them will be for the Intensive Care Unit.
