Egypt: Manpower Minister - Irregular Workers Marginalized

Manpower and immigration Minister Kahled Al-Azhari said on 23/2/2013 that casual workers are neglected through the last long years, pointing out that the Ministry intends to take care of them in the coming period.

This matter was confirmed at all international and local forums, he added. The Minister noted that this sector began to be cared about in 2007. Yet, the beginning of interest came after the January Revolution by establishing a separate unit for those laborers in each manpower directorate at the level of the governorates.
