Egypt: PM - Awaiting Probe Results to Reveal Those Involved in Port Said Incidents

Prime Minister Hisham Qandil expressed in a press release on 23/2/2013 his sadness for Port Said violent events. He said that there was a public demand of Port Said residents to assign a judge to investigate into the incidents and this demand was immediately responded to.

He added that he coordinated with the Prosecutor General and Interior Minister and received all files and prosecution investigations. He added that he is waiting for the results of investigations to punish those involved in these incidents.

The premier expressed his deep concern on what Port cities have been witnessing of civil disobedience and injuries of tens of people.
