Sudan: SPLM-N - 'Fighting in Kurmuk Continues'

Kurmuk — Fighting is ongoing inside the city of Kurmuk, Blue Nile, the Sudan People's Liberation Movement - North (SPLM-N) claims.

A press statement issued by the movement on Sunday said its forces are still 'in control' and are continuing to put pressure on the Sudanese armed forces and its militias. Arnu Ngutulu Lodi, the movement's military spokesman, claimed 'heavy losses' were inflicted on the armed forces and its militias and that SPLM-N's forces will continue its fight until the city is 'fully liberated'.
