Nigeria: Jonathan, PDP Governors in Private Meeting

President Goodluck Jonathan Sunday met with the governors of the ruling People's Democratic Party (PDP) at the State House, Abuja.

As soon as some of the governors started arriving and even before journalists could establish their presence they were quietly told to disperse from the House 7 venue of the parley under the pretext that it was a private gathering.

Subsequently, before the participants converge on the venue, at about 7:30 pm, journalists filed out to await further development. On their way out of the ptemises the ministers of Petroleum and Aviation, Diezani Allison-Madueke and Stella Oduah were sighted strolling in unison, with their security details in tow, towards the venue.
