Zambia: Zanaco and Power to Settle Charity Shield Final

Zambia's representatives in the CAF Champions League and CAF Confederations Cup, Zanaco and Power Dynamos, will meet in the final of the Samuel 'Zoom' Ndlovu Charity Shield final.

Zanaco defeated Napsa Stars 4-2 while Power dispatched Zesco United emerging 2-1 winners in the semi-finals played at Nkoloma Stadium in Lusaka yesterday.

In the early kick-off, Power were too good for Zesco who they beat by 2 - 1 with goals from Kennedy Mudenda and Mukuka Mulenga. Kangwa Chileshe scored what proved to be a consolation for Zesco United.

In the later match, Zanaco came from behind to beat Napsa Stars 4 - 2 in a six goal blitz.

Napsa were the first to score through Matthew Nkhowani before Davies Mwape equalised. Rodrick Kabwe, who has a perfect start to his career in Lusaka, put Zanaco ahead before the break.

After the break, Spencer Ngalande scored for Napsa to level the score. Substitutes Boyd Mwangelwa and Aubrey Zulu each scored one to give Zanaco a boost before the CAF champions league return match in Swaziland this weekend.
