THE implementation of a Sh10 billion water and sanitation programme for the five East Africa Community states is back on track after a one-year delay. Dan Owore, regional programme co-ordinator of the Lake Victoria Water Supply and Sanitation Programme, said the project has been launched in four member states. "We are behind by a year but are now gathering momentum," he told a Mara River Basin workshop on water and sanitation.
