Zimbabwe: Mzembi Wins African Award

Nairobi — TOURISM and Hospitality Industry Minister Walter Mzembi won the Special Recognition for Excellence Award of African Achievers at a ceremony held in Nairobi, Kenya at the weekend. The African Achievers Awards recognise excellency in individuals and organisations that have distinguished themselves in their contribution to the growth and development of Africa. In his acceptance speech, an elated Minister Mzembi dedicated the prestigious award to the people of his Masvingo South constituency for their resolute support that has become the source of his inspiration. Other esteemed recipients of the awards from Zimbabwe were the managing director of Securico private company, Mrs Devine Ndhlukula who scooped the African woman of the year award.

TN Holdings chief executive Mr Tawanda Nyambirai won the Excellence in Enterprise Award.
