Algerian solders killed twelve terrorists in two separate operations, APS reported on Saturday (February 23rd). Four terrorists died Friday in Boukaal Medajadji, in Chlef. Eight others were killed Saturday morning in the Boumerdès town of Timezrit. According to the defence ministry, three wanted criminals were among the dead.
The army defused bombs and seized weapons, grenades, ammunition and other equipment during the operations.
