Western Sahara: President of Republic Felicitates Prime Minister of Grenada

Bir Lehlou — The President of the Republic and Secretary General of the Frente POLISARIO Mr. Mohamed Abdelaziz sent Sunday a letter of congratulation to Dr. Keith Mitchell following his election as a prime minister of Grenada, succeeding Mr. Tillman Thomas.

"On behalf of people of the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic and my own behalf, I am pleased to convey to you warm congratulations on your assuming office as Prime Minister of Grenada," wrote President of the Republic.

He, therefore, expressed confidence that the friendly cooperative relations already existing between the two countries and peoples will be definitely further strengthened and developed.

Keith Mitchell, the New National Party, defeated Mr. Tillman Thomas, the National Democratic Congress, in Tuesday's vote.
