Angolans Urged to Preserve Unity and Humility

Luanda — The bishop of the Our Lord Jesus Christ Church in the World (Tocoist Church), Afonso Nunes, urged on Sunday all Angolans to preserve the unity and follow Jesus Chirst's humility.

The religious leader said so during the main mass on 24 February, under the 95th birthday of Prophet Simão Gonçalves Toco.

"United people become stronger and powerful, so the Angolans must reflect on the path to take in order to serve as example for the whole continent ", he said.

On the occasion, bishop Afonso Nunes exhorted the faithful of his church so as to encourage peace and harmony at workplace, home and society.

The mass was attended by the Higher Education Minister, Adão do Nascimento, vice-governor of Luanda, Jovelina Imperial, leaders of other religious congregations and believers of Tocoist Church.
