Egypt Warns Workers Against Travel Brokers

The Foreign Ministry warned on Sunday 24/2/2013 workers seeking to get a job in Lebanon not to deal with brokers, saying the Manpower Ministry is the only body authorized in this domain.

Ragai Nasr, the Deputy Assistant Foreign Minister for Consular Affairs, said Egyptian workers should get a work permit from the Egyptian Interior Ministry before traveling to Lebanon.

He added that workers should get a work contract either from the Egyptian Embassy in Beirut or the labor office in Beirut to avoid getting in trouble in Lebanon.
