Minister of Investment Osama Saleh met with a high-level British delegation, led by London Mayor Roger Gifford with the participation of the British Ambassador in Cairo as well as a host of economic and investment bodies.

An agreement was reached on the date of holding an investment conference in September under the auspices of London mayor. The conference will be attended by senior Egyptian and European investors.

Saleh reviewed Egyptian investment opportunities of interest to the British companies, as well as the Suez Canal Corridor project, along with partnership ventures between the public and private sectors.

Representatives of the British companies voiced interest to pump fresh investments in the field of IT in Egypt, through the investment opportunities available in the "technology valley", along with the small and medium-size enterprises (SMEs).
