South Africa: Bucket System Is an Insult to Eastern Cape Residents

press release

National Treasury must fast track the process of granting funds to the Nelson Mandela Bay Metro Municipality to be used in the eradication of the demeaning bucket system in Walmer Township, Port Elizabeth.

IFP Spokesperson on Co-operative Governance and Traditional Affairs, Mr Peter Smith MP said, "The Bucket system is an insult to Walmer residents after 18 years of democracy.
