The Agricultural Finance Corporation has allocated Sh1 billion to give out to farmers as loans. AFC will loan the money to farmers to boosting food production.

Managing director Lucas Meso at the weekend in Eldoret town said the corporation will access the farmers' needs and give them the credit accordingly.

"We have allocated adequate money which we will use to support farmers," said Meso.He said like in the previous years AFC will enter into agreements with farmers on how they will loaned the money.
