Somalia: Police in Hamar Weyne Fighting Drugs

The police chief of Hamar Weyne today announced that they have caught a group of people with drugs after they were on their operation of maintaining of security.

Deputy police boss of hamar weyne Mohamed Dahir also said we are not only fighting with Alshabab but also we are fighting against drugs. Also he said that in the operation they have caught plastic jerrycans of 250 liters and several twenty liters. The people who were arrested in the operation are men and women of different class.

District commissioner of Hamar weyne was also present and he congratulated the police of their work and also urges citizen that whoever has any information about anyone who use or sell drugs in the district please inform the police for immediate solution.

This is our first time to conduct such operation so let the citizens know that we are not only on Alshabab operation we also fight what will bring harm to our future leaders.
