Eritrea: Ginda Sub-Zone Calls for Ensuring Educational Standard

Ginda — The Education Ministry's branch in Ginda sub-zone has called for joint efforts on the part of parents, teachers, students and Area Administrations as regards ensuring educational standard.

It made the call at an assessment meeting conducted last week, during which it was stated that enhanced community participation as regards putting in place of educational facilities, coupled with the teaching-learning process, attests to the prevalence of growing popular awareness to this end.

Mr. Omar Mohammed, head of basic education in the Ministry's branch in the Northern Red Sea region, indicated that the meeting was vital in addressing the existing challenges and exchange of experience.

Ms. Amna Haji Osman, Administrator of Ginda sub-zone, called for sustained community undertakings pertaining to renovation of schools vis-à-vis enhanced role of Area administrators in adult education.

Moreover, the participants of the meeting put forth views regarding various issues.

There exist 33 schools serving from Kindergarten to High School level in Ginda sub-zone.
