Eritrea: EDF Members Satisfied with Academic, Training Courses

Assab — EDF members in the Southern Red Sea region expressed satisfaction with the academic and training courses being accorded them with a view to raising their production capacity.

The office of the Eastern Command indicated that stepped up endeavors are being exerted in this regard, as it is in tune with the Eritrean military norm since the days of the armed struggle for independence. It further disclosed that more than 2,000 Army members have become beneficiaries of such courses.

Among the EDF members, Petros Ramadan, Ruta Tewolde, Teame Teklemariam and Michael Tekeste said that only knowledge and skill-equipped Army can prove dynamic outcome in the nation-building process, and that they are in a position to upgrade their educational level vis-à-vis acquiring skill knowledge. Moreover, they voiced readiness to enhance participation in national development programs.
