Angola: Ecumenical Sunday Programme Promotes Gospel Music Gala

Luanda — The Ecumenical Sunday programme aired by Cazenga broadcasting radio will promote a gospel music gala called "Top Gospel", taking place at Sao Joao Cinema in urban district of Kilamba Kiaxi in Luanda, on March 3.

This was confirmed Monday by the organisation's spokesman, Manuel Simão Bambila who said that the event serves to encourage the creation of more gospel music in the country, with a view to ensure its expansion beyond borders.

"Gospel music is essential to strengthen the mind and soul of any society," he stressed.

According to the source, the event will gather musicians Ir.Joly, Elioth Cassoma, Nguito Pandas, Bambila, among others.

During the gala, the most voted singer by the public will get a symbolic award.

The organisation would not mention the kind of prize to be awarded o the winner.
