Kuito — Authorities in Central Bié province will repair the statue of King the Christ, located at Kamacupa, Angop has learnt.

This was said by the coordinator of the management commission of the culture, Francisco Xavier Satchombe, adding that conditions have been created in partnership with the sectors of hotels and tourism.

He said that the statue is located at 82 kilometres off Kuito city, and provides a good image to the municipality.

There is a similar statue in Lubango city, southern Huila province that is being rehabilitated by the local staff.
