Nigeria: NPL Rules Mba, Agbim Belong to Warri Wolves

The Nigeria Premier League has ruled that senior national team players, Sunday Mba and Chigozie Agbim, belong to Warri Wolves.

Enugu Rangers had claimed AFCON hero Mba, insisting he has always been their player and has been training with them before the Nations Cup in South Africa.

However, in a letter signed by the Executive Secretary, Tunji Babalola, Mba and Agbim have been declared as players of Warri Wolves.

"We are in receipt of your correspondence on the above subject. From our records, it is established that Chigozie Agbim and Sunday Mba are bona fide players of Warri Wolves FC."

The League Interim Management Committee has therefore warned any club interested in the players to contact Warri Wolves.

"Consequently, the ownership of the players is not subject to any controversy and any club who require their services should contact the management of Warri Wolves," continued the letter from the league body.
