Nigeria: Pastor Adeboye Tennis Tourney Begins

The first Pastor Enoch Adeboye National Table Tennis tournament final begins today at the Redeemed Camp with about 25 states of the federation in attendance.

In a pre-event press briefing held at the Christian Church of God Events Centre, the Special Assistant to the General Overseer (Admin and Personnel), Pastor Johnson Odesola said N6m prize money is at stake.

Winners in both male and female categories will go home with N1.5 million each, the runners up get N1 m each while the 3rd and 4th place finishers get N250,000 as prize money.

Each participating state presented 8 players of 4 boys and same number of girls. The preliminaries will end on Thursday when the quarter finals and semi finals will be concluded while the final comes up on Saturday.
