Egypt President Meets Political Forces for Dialogue

Egypt's presidency has extended an invitation to all political and national forces to attend a meeting on Tuesday to discuss their suggestions for fair and free elections.

Parliamentary elections to bring about a new House of Representatives are due to start on April 22 for the lower house to convene for the first time on July 2.

The meeting which will be aired live according to a Monday statement by the president's office will address the concerns of different groups over the upcoming election, including supervision and objectivity.

Starting at half past five on Tuesday afternoon, the meeting will take place at the Heliopolis presidential palace.
